GMA Continuing Professional Development Program Discussion Paper
The GMA National Executive Committee is proposing that a Continuing Professional Development program be developed and offered to members. Participation in the program would be voluntary, meaning a person could still be a full member of the GMA even if they elected not to take part in the program. The program would encourage continuing education and professional development, with points awarded for a variety of activities undertaken. Once a set number of points has been achieved the member could apply for accreditation as a “Certified Practicing Manager Australia” (CPMA).
